Founded in 1977, the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio Solo Competition is the longest-running and most prestigious competition of its kind. The 2027 competition marks its landmark 50th Anniversary! Each spring OSNY presents the Finals Concert featuring eight finalists and offering audiences a first look at the next generation of great oratorio voices. Many alumni of the competition have gone on to major careers on stages worldwide. This season past winners include Daniel Moody and Brian Giebler in our Messiah, and Elisse Albian and Maximillian Jansen for the Bach B Minor Mass.
