The Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition is the only competition dedicated to the art of oratorio singing. In celebration of the competition’s fortieth anniversary, Friends of the Solo Competition was created for people who care passionately about the future of oratorio performances and who want to encourage promising young oratorio soloists. Contributing to the Friends of the Solo Competition fund is an investment in the future of the majesty and splendor of choral music.
The Woodside Circle
The Woodside Circle was established in memory of the Society’s long-time director, Lyndon Woodside. Members of the Woodside Circle choose among four levels of annual giving with a three year commitment. Members are invited to participate in special events throughout the season.
