There are many ways to donate. Check out the ideas and guidelines below.
Deadline is Saturday, May 1st

Questions?

Just write to the Auction Committee at auction@osny.org and someone will get back to you. If you need to set a date for an event, contact committee member DiAnn Pierce for available dates.

Objects
Do you have any beautiful, useful, or original objects that someone else would appreciate?

Donate jewelry, paintings, photographs, pottery, or other objects of interest. We also welcome handicrafts or art of your own creation.

Gift Certificates
Is there a special restaurant, store, or gym you’d like to support during these challenging times?

Here’s an idea: Instead of asking them to donate a gift certificate, buy one yourself and donate it to the auction! We’ll include your personal words of thanks or praise in the item description.

In-person Outdoor Events
Can you sponsor a neighborhood tour or hiking excursion, or a picnic, barbecue, or tasting party in your backyard?

We’re looking for events held outdoors with 10 or fewer people. The event needs to follow the CDC, state, and local guidelines in force at the time of the auction and at the time of the actual event.

Virtual Events
Want to share your knowledge of art, architecture, or the culinary arts?

Donate a cooking demonstration, wine or food tasting, virtual tour of art or architecture, or other educational presentation. The Auction Committee can help you organize a Zoom event and host the session.

Small Indoor Events for 2022
Would you like to host a small indoor gathering early next year?

You can plan an event for 10 or fewer people between January and April 2022. It would need to follow the CDC, state, and local guidelines in force at the time of the event.

Offers of Services
Do you have a special skill or knowledge you’d like to share?

You can offer voice lessons, language lessons, yoga sessions, knitting lessons, computer consultations, professional advice, or even pet-sitting or dog-walking services.

Vacation Home Stays
Do you have a home you can offer for a week or weekend getaway?

You would be providing a welcome change of scenery to colleagues weary of confinement!
